NOSE Scale
Nasal Obstruction Evaluation

Anatomy of the nasal passages and paranasal sinuses
If your nose is narrow, air enters with too much force, creating suction that makes your throat vibrate or close (snoring/apnea). When you open your mouth to breathe, your tongue falls back and tissues relax, facilitating airway collapse.
Rate how much each symptom has bothered you (0-4):
0 = No problem • 1 = Very mild • 2 = Moderate • 3 = Fairly bad • 4 = Severe
1. Nasal congestion or stuffiness
2. Nasal blockage or obstruction
3. Trouble breathing through my nose
4. Trouble sleeping
5. Unable to get enough air through my nose during exercise or exertion
