Snore analyzer: measure the sound of your recording
Record or upload an audio sample and the analyzer will measure, on your own device and without uploading the audio, how long it sounds, its relative loudness and whether there are prolonged sound pauses. It does not diagnose, nor does it tell which part of the throat the snoring comes from.

Snoring Acoustic Analyzer
Record a 30–60 second clip while you snore — or ask your partner to capture it. The analyzer measures, on your own device, how long it sounds, its relative loudness and whether there are prolonged sound pauses, so you can mention it at your consultation.

The audio: It is analysed on your phone and never leaves it.
AI second opinion (optional): Only if you tick its box, the numerical measurements of your snoring, never the audio, are sent to an AI service that compares them with the example sounds. It operates outside the European Union, with the safeguards the GDPR requires (the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses). If you leave it unticked, everything stays on your phone.
Legal basis: Your explicit consent (Art. 9.2.a GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by unticking the box; withdrawing it does not affect what was already done.
Recipients: Your data is not shared with third parties; only the technical providers needed are involved, as data processors.

Knowing where the snoring comes from requires an examination at the consultation and, when indicated, a drug-induced sleep endoscopy (DISE): an endoscopy during sleep induced with medication that shows which structures narrow the airway. This tool measures, on your device, the sound of the recording (time with sound, relative loudness and prolonged sound pauses). It does not diagnose sleep apnea nor locate where the snoring comes from: a systematic review of 28 studies concluded that, so far, snoring sound analysis does not seem to be a viable test to choose treatment (Huang et al., Sleep Med 2021, PMID 34749271).
